The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Systems and Fiscal Management
Branch, is happy to announce a job opening for a Vocational
Rehabilitation Administrator 1.  This position will be primarily
responsible for negotiating and monitoring cost allocation plans and
resource sharing agreements with Kentucky Career Centers across the

Minimum Requirement - Primary Education :

Graduate of a college or university with a master's degree in
rehabilitation, rehabilitation teaching or therapy, guidance and/or
counseling, psychology, sociology, orientation and mobility, social
work, special education, education, education with emphasis in
vocational counseling, public or business administration or a related
field.


Minimum Requirement - Primary Experience :

Must have four years of professional experience in vocational
rehabilitation, vocational assessment, employer relations or
rehabilitation technology.


Substitution Clause :

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in one of the above areas
plus two years of professional experience in vocational rehabilitation,
vocational assessment, employer relations or rehabilitation technology
will substitute for the required master's degree.


Education Substitution :

Current certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) will
substitute for one year of the required experience.

Description of Job Duties

Coordinates, evaluates, monitors the provision of one or more vocational
rehabilitation program. Functions as agency resource on compliance &
fiscal issues for One-Stop Career Center cost allocation or resource
sharing; analyzes program operations and procedures; conducts ongoing
reviews; consults with program administrators to measure the
effectiveness of delivery and long range impact; provide technical
assistance & training to sub-recipients as necessary; interprets
administrative regulations, statutes, and proposed legislation; performs
other duties as assigned.

Qualifying: All candidates who apply and meet the minimum requirements

Typical Working Conditions and Unique Physical Requirements :

Work is performed primarily in an office setting. Occasional travel will
be required to coordinate services between customers and the agency.
