Hello Cindy,
Thank you for sharing your experience regarding Newsline.  However, NEWSLINE
is just fine.  Apparently, you visited a different page or site and NEWSLINE
doesn't have a blog, facebook or twitter.  The national office works on
developments.  I would be interested to know where you were in looking at
Newsline.  New content continues to be added to the NEWSLINE service.

What is going on with Newsline? I just visited the website and the latest
update was March 2012. The blog they advertise only has one entry from March
15, 2010. It lists a Facebook page, twitter account, and you tube coming
soon but no updated information. The last entry in NEWS section for Newsline
is April 2012.

I know the service hasn't gone away but someone has really let this great
resource fall behind.

I usually use other methods to get my newsline content, but I was at the
site to see if they had an Android app. The iPhone app was released in June
2012 and it is more than a year later without an Android app. Needless to
say, I was very disappointed.
