[Nfbk] Thanks for Birthday Wishes and a Host of Questions

Dear Melanie and everyone,

I am finally catching up on email! Thank you so very much for your birthday
wishes! As some of you know, I have had a hard spring and summer; my life
partner of 12 years left me for someone else. I am doing a lot better at
this point and am learning to enjoy being single again. Your email means a
lot.

 

I have several questions that I hope some of you might be able to answer.
Does anyone use an iPhone mp3 app that lets you speed up mp3 audio books? If
so, could you let me know what app you use?

 

Also I am planning to attend the convention. I'm trying to decide whether to
commute or to stay. If any lady would like to share a room for Friday and
Saturday nights, please email me at terrieter at gmeil.com or call me at
502-551-6382 (home/cell) or 502-899-2381 (Work). I think it would be fun to
stay, but I'm paying off some home repairs and am on a tight budget.

 

A third question: if Kenny Jones or someone else active in Kentucky
Association of Blind Athletes could email me, I am very interested in
joining and becoming active. I just don't know how to do so.

Also, is there a chance of doing another yoga class with KABA? It was
tremendously wonderful!
