A lot of people who are blind live in the Crescent Hill/Clifton area. It has
good public transit and a lot of sidewalks.

I don't know of any "colonies" of blind people. We live separately. The
largest concentrations are in Louisville, Frankfort and Lexington. This has
more to do with access to public transportation and job opportunities than
anything else.

characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back. NFB.ORG
