  The Governor has signed a Proclamation declaring October as Visual
Impairment and Blindness Awareness month in Kentucky. Be sure to look for
events in your area to attend!

In Central Kentucky, Lexington, there will be an

*Eye Opening Symposium: Low Vision to No Vision*



WHEN: October 8, 2014 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE: Tates Creek Ballroom, 1400 Gainesway Drive Lexington

COST: The symposium is FREE thanks to the generosity of Retina Associates
of KY



Attached is a brochure for more information about the day's events and
registration.

If you are close to the Lexington area I encourage you to attend and bring
your students. This is a great time for networking with other professionals
in the field and a chance for our students to meet other students in the
area.
