The Kentucky Talking Book Library is excited to announce our first-ever
Summer Reading Program (All Ages!)

As our community partner, you know the value of summer reading. For our
younger patrons, summer reading keeps minds active and engaged between
school years. For adults, it's a chance to revisit favorite books, branch
out into new genres, and simply enjoy the pleasure of a great story. We hope
you will share information about the KTBL summer reading program with your
customers. We've included everything you need in the attached packet, but
please reach out to us with any questions. We want Summer Reading to be
accessible for all Kentuckians!

*	Who it's for: Any Kentuckian (all ages!) who struggles to read
standard print due to low vision, a physical disability, or a reading
disability. It is FREE to join our library at ktbl.ky.gov.
*	What's offered: 200,000+ audiobook and braille titles for all ages -
picture books and juvenile titles, popular YA, bestselling adult fiction and
non-fiction.
*	How to access: Audio and braille books by mail or instant downloads
via the free BARD Mobile app. There are no fees, no fines, no holds lists;
downloaded titles never need to be returned.
*	How to participate: Track reading to hit a BINGO on the included
card. Return the card to KTBL before September 1st to receive a free tote
bag. Email ktbl.mail at ky.gov <mailto:ktbl.mail at ky.gov>  to request the Bingo
card in audio or braille format.
*	Spread the word: Printable PDF posters to display are included -
please share with your community.
*	More resources: Visit the NLS summer reading page for title
suggestions and programming, including narrated national park soundscapes!

We have included as attachments a PDF of our BINGO card, a word document of
the BINGO prompts only, a printable marketing poster and a fillable PDF
application for service.  If you prefer the BINGO card in braille, please
call or email your librarian.
