                                GreetingsFellow TAD Members,

I wanted to share something with you that I found to be very exciting in the
world of accessible technology. The new Braille Touch App was developed by
Georgia Tech Researchers. The intent was initially to provide a better
typing experience for those of us with out vision; however, it does appear
that they are targeting folk that can see as well. The developers will be
adhering to Universal Design Principles. That is, designing a product that
is useable and pleasing to the greatest extent possible. Could this new
Braille keyboard app replace the QWERTY keyboard? The developers anticipate
a recent release and they also anticipate that the APP will be free to both
users of IPhone and Android devices.
