[Nfbktad] 2016 NFB Kentucky Pre ETS Fall Symposium

Greetings Everyone,

 

There is an online pre-registration application available for students at
http://www.nfbkentuckytad.info and http://www.nfbkentuckytad.org for the
2016 NFB Kentucky TAD Fall Symposium. It is in the best interest of our
students to make sure that they complete this form immediately. There are
questions pertaining to visual impairment, hardware and software familiarity
and usage that would be best answered prior to the training to ensure that
the TAD staff can make accommodations regarding training staff and
equipment. Waiting until the day of the event could very well present
problems. This application for students will need to be completed at some
point, so our recommendation would be to fill out the online application
ASAP; the application for Pre Employment Transition Students will need to be
completed prior to admittance into the symposium. Registration begins
promptly at 8 A.M. 

 

Financial assistance (includes transportation expenses for students) is
available. Please note that there are limited funds. The deadline for
financial assistance requests will be 9/23/16. If you are requesting
financial assistance, send an email to Todd Stephens at todd at nfbofky.org and
provide a brief budget for travel related expenses that will be incurred.
Please understand that expenses will be reimbursed and not paid up front.
