In recognition of National Preparedness Month, Independence Now invites you
to an exciting evening of learning, hands-on demonstrations, and community
resources designed to help you prepare for emergencies with confidence.

This interactive event will feature emergency preparedness experts, engaging
demonstrations, informative speakers, and vendor exhibits showcasing
products, services, and resources that support emergency readiness for
people with disabilities.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

.          Learn how to respond during a variety of emergencies.

.          Watch live demonstrations on emergency preparedness techniques.

.          Explore emergency preparedness kits and adaptive supplies.

.          Learn the basics of CPR and First Aid.

.          Connect with local emergency management agencies and community
organizations.

.          Discover disaster relief resources and how to protect important
documents before, during, and after an emergency.

Whether you're creating your first emergency plan or updating an existing
one, this event will provide the knowledge, tools, and resources you need to
protect yourself, your family, and your independence.

Come meet local experts, visit community resource tables, ask questions, and
leave feeling prepared, empowered, and ready for whatever comes your way.
