Hi Amy-
Below please find the names and emails of the three Baltimore County TVIs that
all currently work with my boys:
Pam Satterlee-Williams <psatterleewms at bcps.org>;
Linda Starner <lstarner at bcps.org>;
juliann hirst <jhirst at bcps.org>;
Also - here are names and emails of two Moms who both have children with low
vision. Maria is in Howard County and Laurie is in AA County.
Maria Ayub <MAAyub at magellanhealth.com>;
Laurie Harris <laurie70 at live.com>;
My boys are 10 and 13 so I'm excited to see what programs will be available for
them. My goal is to continue to teach them advocacy and independent living
skills, as well as a large focus on assistive technology.
thanks!

Subject: [Nfbmd] Youth Services
Good morning fellow federationist!!!!! As most of you know I am now over the
youth programs at Blind Industries and Services of Maryland. As such, I am
wanting to get to know all of the service providers to youth from birth to 18
and I know that as federationist, we are on the pulse of what is needed for
blind youth in our state. If you have the names and contact information for any
teachers or others who are active in working with blind youth, please send me
their name, phone number, email address and whether or not I can use you as a
reference. Now that the holidays are over, I want to begin reaching out to as
many contacts as possible.
Some of our plans for 2011 include, Independence 2011--our summer programs,
return of the transition club, as well as some quarterly retreats. I am not sure
of the details of these activities, other than Independence 2011. If there are
any events that you feel I need to know about as related to blind youth please
keep me posted. Thanks in advance for your help!
Warm regards,
Amy C. Phelps
