Hi Sharon,
I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner! Any news after the hearing?
Do we know what happened to the bill?

real problem is the misunderstanding and lack of education that
exists. If a blind person has the proper training and
opportunity, blindness can be reduced to a mere physical

Subject: [Nfbmd] Urgent Action Needed in Annapolis Tomorrow,
March 23
The Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee did not take action on
SB 491,
time is running out. This bill will allow people who are
discriminated
against by a place of public accommodation to go to state court
to get a
remedy. Please email the chairman, Senator Brian Frosh
Brian.Frosh at senate.state.md.us , and ask him to vote the bill
out of
committee. Get your friends to email or call, as well.
410.841.3124 or
301.858.3124
Deliver the same message to the Vice Chair, Senator Lisa Gladden
Lisa.Gladden at senate.state.md.us or 410.841.3697 or 301.858.3697
The bill will die in committee unless we act.
Thank you,
Sharon Maneki
