Thanks Graham for the update. For certain , a lesson learned. To respond to
the statement by Chris, I am a regular subscriber and do not get the
digest format, so perhaps there is some other explaination.

Hi Fellow Listers,
Michelle Clark mentioned the attachments got scrubbed when the email Lou Ann
posted to the NFB mailing lists like this one with the Subject: [Nfbmd]
Public Demonstration of Accessible Voting Machines

This is indeed the standard operating procedures unless the list
administrator approves and makes the exception.
However, for future reference the attachment gets scrubbed, but usually at
the very end of the email with the attachments it will provide details about
what documents were scrubbed and how you could possibly get them. What you
are looking for is a line that begins with the text "URL" without the
quotation marks.
This particular email had 3 attachments. First was a HTML attachment, which
will not help most on this list unless you are a Internet Web GURU. The
other two were a PDF and MS Word Document. For your convenience I am
listing those two URLs here.

Definitely look at the attachments yourself, but the date and place info is
a follows:

Graham,

Firstly, it's great to see you on the list. I haven't heard from you since
the leadership seminar we both attended back in March, but I have very fond
memories of your contributions to the discussions we had that day and the
freshness of your perspective as one of our newest members. I'm glad to see
you contributing on this list as well!

Thank you for posting these URL's. To clarify, I believe the attachments
only get scrubbed when in the daily list digest. If one has his/her list
subscription settings set to "regular mode," the attachments should come
through as they normally would. I, at least, am subscribed to this list
under "regular mode" and received the attachments in Lou Ann's email
normally. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about this.

Chris

Announcing the creation of the NFB Central Maryland chapter mailing list!
Pass the word to your friends and neighbors.

The purpose of the central Maryland ListServ is to promote communication
among chapter members. We will also use this List to provide information to
Chapter members and others in the chapter's region. This will also help us
be better informed of State and National issues. The Central MD Chapter has
members from Howard County and the Laurel/Fort Meade areas.

How to subscribe to the list:
If you want to subscribe, send a email message to central-md-chapter-request
@nfbnet.org With only one word in the subject line, which is: subscribe

General information about the mailing list is at:
