The actual fitbit devices are not accessible but don’t technically need to be. Once you sync your fitbit to your cell phone everything that is shown on the fitbit screen is on your cell phone in the fitbit app. The fitbit itself has nothing on it but displays of current stats like steps, floors, and pulse but the app on your cell phone has all the status displays the fitbit itself has and more and the phone app can be set to get a live sync readout of pulse and steps also! Bare in mind if your not reviewing your stats or making changes to things in the fitbit app you don’t need to leave it open. You can close the app and just wear the fitbit whenever you want readings taken. It will store a few weeks I think and you open the app later and it’ll sync the fitbit to your account.

Side note, the Apple Watch has a fully accessible user interface being that it has voiceover built in but that’s not to say that the fitbit isn’t a good choice. If your just Looking for plain fitness tracking and that’s it a fitbit will due.

Thanks,
