Subject: [NFBMD] Letters to Delegates about HB547 Correction

Hello All,

As I mentioned in the previous email, everyone should write to the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee asking her to support HB547, the accountability act for accessible K-12 education. Her name was spelled incorrectly. Here is the correct spelling: Delegate Vanessa Atterbeary. Sorry for the mishap.

Thanks,

Sharon Maneki, Director of Legislation and Advocacy

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
