As Amber Woods informed us on Sunday, Joyce Brooks of our National Harbor Chapter lost her granddaughter last weekend at the young age of 13. Please find below information on memorial services and ways to send condolences to Joyce and Aniyah’s brother Edward. As an aside, the I3s Foundation is an organization Joyce leads and co-founded which hosts wonderful weekly Zoom calls on various topics of interest to blind people. Let’s continue to keep Joyce and her family in our thoughts and prayers.

The i3s Foundation asks that you all keep Ms. Joyce Brooks and Mr. Health the Third (Edward) in your thoughts and prayers as their family grieves the loss of their beloved Granddaughter and Sister, Aniyah Blessing Williams.  She was 13 years old and in the 8th grade at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School located in Beltsville Maryland. Funeral services will be this Saturday January 15th at 11 a. m. at Joseph H Brown Funeral Home in Baltimore Maryland.  The family will stream services via Facebook.
