Greetings Fellow Federationists:

This is Your Invitation to share some insights, laughs, recalling Historical
information and engage with us as a full participant in our first Women's
History Trivia Celebration. "Strain your Brain" Competition

The 2022 Women's History theme:

"Providing Healing, Promoting Hope," is both a tribute to the ceaseless work
of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a
recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have
provided both healing and hope throughout history.

Examples:

Who, are the three Victorian women who broke down barriers in the medical
field to become the first women doctors? Not "Gray's Anatomy"

Who, what group was responsible for delivering mail to our Troops during
WWII, and just received the Presidential Gold Medal and Where? "Pony
Express"??

Who, were Mary Jackson, Katherine Johnson, and Dorothy Vaughan? :The
Supremes:????

Who, were the Iron Jawed Angels? "A Robot"!!!

Who, was the first black woman fighter pilot? "ICE, ICE, Baby"

We will gather for fun and learning Saturday evening, March 19, 2022, at
7:00pm. You don't want to miss it.

Upcoming Events:

Sat., March 19, 2022 - 7:00pm, Women's History Trivia Night

Sat., March 26, 2022 - 6:30pm, Movie Night "On the Basis of Sex' is part
love story, part legal drama, showing how a young Ginsburg (Felicity Jones),
then a lawyer, and her husband won their first case together in court in the
early 1970s. The seemingly minor case, "Moritz v. Commissioner of Internal
Revenue," involved an unmarried man who was denied a $600 tax deduction for
payment for his aging mother's caretaker. The case ignited a spark in
Ginsburg, who died last year at age 87. The late Supreme Court Justice
continued to battle against gender discrimination throughout her storied
career and served in the highest federal court in the United States from
1993 to 2020.
