There will be a free online training to learn how to enroll people in the ACP internet discount program with special guest Maryland Governor Wes Moore, next Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 10:30 to Noon.  Register here.

Following on the successful in person ACP training in August in the Eastern Shore, Governor Moore has an opening in his schedule and would like to have an online ACP training to rally front line staff to help enroll more Maryland households in the ACP internet discount program.

Eligible households can receive up to $45 month off home and mobile internet through ACP. Households are eligible for ACP if they are enrolled in benefit programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, free school lunch, housing voucher programs, or have an income under 200% of the federal poverty guidelines ($29,160 for 1 person household, $39,440 for 2 people, etc.)

Please share this flyer with other organizations and with front line staff who work with members of the public who are eligible for ACP (e.g., benefit enrollment, food and diaper distribution, computer labs and homework help, and low-income support programs).  Each person must register separately to receive the Outlook invitation and Zoom link.  Together, with your help, we can make Maryland the most connected state in the nation!
This training is being offered by Montgomery Connects in partnership with the Maryland Digital Equity Coalition.  We hope to see you next week!!
