[NFBMD] Friends Annual Meeting

Hello All,

Did you register for the Friends Annual Meeting yet? It is on October 26,
from 9:30am to 12:30pm. You may attend virtually or in-person. You will
have the chance to meet the new state librarian, learn about what Friends
has been up to in the past year, and enjoy two keynote speakers. Our
speakers will be Cindy Freeland, a children's author of books about the
Chesapeake Bay, and Eric Thomas, a syndicated advice columnist to the
Baltimore Sun, Washington Post, and several others. If you join in-person,
we will have lunch. There will be door prizes and so much more!

You must register by either writing an email to reference.desk at maryland.gov
or calling 410-230-2443. We are extending the registration deadline until
close of business Monday, October 21. You must register in order to receive
lunch OR to get the Zoom link if you are joining virtually.
