[NFBMDTLC-Chapter] TLC Chapter Unlocks the Mystery Box in May

The TLC chapter of the NFB of Maryland will be conducting its May meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 7:00 PM. We meet at the Image Center in Towson on 300 East Joppa Road, Suite 312.

At this month's meeting, we will have Ross Kirschner, Manager of Organizational Technology for the National Federation of the Blind, make a presentation to the chapter.

Have you ever been intimidated to open the case of your computer to examine the components inside? What does a hard drive look like? What about something called RAM? Learn the safe procedures when working on your computer, so you too, can replace that dead hard drive or defective sound card.

Please join us this Thursday as Ross brings a computer that we can examine in detail to unlock the mysteries of that magical box!

At our June meeting on June 20, 2019, our National Federation of the Blind of Maryland affiliate president, Ronza Othman will be visiting us to conduct a membership ceremony for our chapter. Please make your best efforts to attend this important meeting.
