    Hello,

Fred, I'd like to applaud you on your comments regarding the college policy.  The commission board needs to hear loudly and clearly from as many people as possible that the commission must take steps to insure that all staff are well trained experts in blindness who respect and demonstrate their belief in the ability of blind people and who will work to support and encourage students to achieve their education/vocational goals.

Too many blind students have experienced frustration and have received services that are deplorable and unacceptable. Too much valuable time has been wasted.  Let's start immediately to bring these shameful and embarrassing practices to an end..
