Good job Joe, I hope Christine already has this information.

Furthermore, the classification of a spring-loaded toy as a firearm per
whickopedia is absurd. I need to examine the qualification of the submitter.
A lay person does not have any credibility in submitting such information.

Mr. Harcz, this notice is in response to your request for copies of records
from the Department's Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB) division under
the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), MCL 15.231 et seq., you describe as:

".what rules, laws, etc. or methods of administrative criterion were used to
close the much touted and voluntary "marksmanship class" at the Michigan
Commission for the Blind Training Center?"

Please be informed that pursuant to MCL 15.235, Section 5(2)(a) of the FOIA,
your request has been granted. After a search for records, to the best of
the Department's knowledge information, and belief, the Department has
electronically enclosed records in it's possession responsive to your
request, specifically:

--Public Act 260 of 1978 that describes the duties, authority, and power of
the MCB

--Michigan Civil Service Commission Workplace Safety Rule

--Position Description of the MCB Director that describes the functions and
purpose of the position.

Sincerely,

Melvin Farmer, Jr.

Central FOIA Coordinator
