Re: Comparison and contrast

To Whom It May Concern:

Mr. Patrick D. Cannon has alleged over and over again including recently that the process in Michigan for consumer input is more open than that of other agencies. I contend that it is not so and that the MCB web site is not utilized as a tool for providing timely information related to critical items such as State Plan updates but it also is not used as a mechanism for input either.

Now, compare here the much smaller state of Maine and its inclusion and use of its web site for both public information and input into the process itself.

And if I asked for relevant data in accessible format from this agency I know they would promptly honor that request for they have in the past to myself and compatriots while I was an advocate in New Hampshire.

The url and page related to Maine’s activities mentioned above can be accessed after my signature line.

Sincerely,

Joe Harcz
