The most important point, to me, is that it is not, as stated in the
training, going above the minimum to do those things you mention.  It is the
law, end of discussion.

Yes, Fred and this makes it clear that all the committees including CIC, 
Service and Design, Diversity, etc., etc., must comply with the OMA and 
Freedom of Information Act. That does by the way include the requirement to 
keep and disseminate minutes and, of course it requires notice.
