Subject: FY 2009 Final 107 Monitoring Report

  Dear Mr. Cannon:

I am writing on behalf of Lynnae Ruttledge.

RSA is in the process of publishing the FY 2009 Section 107 monitoring review report on the vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs for Michigan. Attached is a copy of the final report. Per the FY 2009 monitoring protocol, once RSA has issued the final report on its MIS we will e-mail the DSA, the SRC, the SILC, and other stakeholders with a link to the report.

Now that the report is final, please feel free to identify any additional technical assistance (TA) needs to assist you in carrying out the recommendations and findings in the report. These TA needs will be included in your TA plan.

Once published, you can access the report at the following link:

  http://www.ed.gov/rschstat/eval/rehab/107-reports/2009/index.html

We are encouraging those individuals who were involved in the monitoring process in your state to complete a survey evaluating RSA's FY 2009 monitoring process. You can access the survey at the link below.

  http://www.ed.gov/rschstat/eval/rehab/107-reports/2009/survey.html

Please feel free to forward this e-mail to other individuals and organizations in your state.

RSA looks forward to continuing to work with you toward our mutual goal of improving employment and independent living outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

Thank you for your efforts on behalf of individuals with disabilities.

  Sincerely,

  Craig McManus
