I use braille to take notes and for some reading.  I also use my digital formats quite often.  I think the big worry is that writing especially, (That done with slate or pencil will become obsolete).  Like in a short Isaac Asimov story where people were so dependent on computers that writing was litterally rediscovered!  I see signs of that already in mathematics.  Remember learning to do all of that stuff in your head!   
Intelligence is always claimed but rarely proven!
