Exactly, Christine!  I have a couple of slates both post card and 8 line.  As I recall, you are one of those who writes with a slate almost as good as I do!  And, that is pretty good!  I remember this because the slate seems to be going the way of the dinosaur.  But, I like dinosaurs and there is nothing as convenient as a slate!  I read a lot of digital books because I am usually doing other things while reading.  However, if I need to remember or study something, there is nothing that beats braille!  That's why I read all of that science stuff when at MSB.   
Intelligence is always claimed but rarely proven!
