Dawn,

Thanks for the opportunity to serve hot chocolate to the masses at Governor Snyder's inauguration.  Although the day was somewhat draining, it was a total blast!!  I even waited in the receiving line afterwards and personally met the Governor, who promised to stop by my snack bar sometime for a chat.  I also met Lt. Gov. Calley, which was somewhat funny, because he remembered me from past transactions at my store, but I allmost did not remember him!  When it finally clicked in my mind, I rememmbered him as being really unassuming, I thought he was a lobbyist (don't know if that is a good or bad thing).  Needless to say, he had a very favorable impression on how I run my business.

Anyway, I would like you to keep me in mind, should you or your fellow lobbyists have any catering needs here at the Capital in the future.  I have access to a large commercial kitchen right across the street at HOB, so I am able to do anything from coffee to sandwiches or hot entrees, and I am very flexible with my price structure.

Thanks again for the opportunity to help out last Saturday, and I look forward to hearing from you in the future!

I apologize for the lateness of this email, as you can imagine putting together an Inaugural is very time consuming.  I spoke with you two or so weeks back about you providing hot chocolate.  We would be honored if you are able to do that.  We will be providing a table on the Capitol lawn so you will not have to worry about that.
