Well said.

Bottom line though I think, from personal experience that most frontline
personnel of MCB are great. In fact many particularly those engaged directly
in rehab like the Rehab Teachers and O and M instructors are more than fine.
So were, once upon a time most of the Rehab counselors.

However, increasingly do to shenigans at the top including persecution of
qualified folks like Chris Boone and numerous others the entire staff is
demoralized. And due to the ludicrous leadership right at the highest
levels the mission is lost, taxpayer funds are squandered and wasted, and
promotions are apparently based upon fealty to Cannon, rather than on
performance standards that even a first Grader could understand.

It appears that the higher up on the so-called food chain one goes in this
state, generally speaking and exceptions noted, the more incompetent and
even corrupted one gets.

Personally speaking in MCB and regarding the entire upper management team
called tthe Executive Management Team I exempt only two people right now.
Those are, of course, Christine Boone and Elsie Duell. We all know of the
work of Chris. Elsie has impressed me so far in her zeal and her competence.
I give her a whole lot of credit for she sure had a mess dumped upon her on
a variety of fronts.

Anyway as the saying goes the fish rots from the head.

With all the accolades and all the high pay over years we should all expect
more accountability and more than public relations spin regarding the actual
performance by Cannon and his sycophants.

I mean there are objective standards to measure his performance by. If we
held him accountable to those alone he would be in the unemployment line.

Regardless, as Bob Dylan sang, "You don't need to be a weatherman to know
which way the wind blows."

By the way I'm so sorry that I missed the call in Saturday related to the
At-Large NFB group.

I would like to be more involved with that. unfortunately some personal and
dire computer issues kept me out of that meeting.

I'd love to hear some more on how it went.

Finally, Phyllis I love your zeal and more importantly your common sense.

Peace with Justice,

Joe
