There is a big difference between working hard for years and want to
find something passionate to become involved in. My desire is not to
be a drag on our economy. My husband is retired from Ford Motor and
offers some wiggle room to get things I want. However as a senior it
must be practical whether my vision stays the same or gets worst.

Hope to meet many of you at convention. I am not a person who gets
involved with advocacy but transportation is a big issue for many of
us. Should I say lack of good transportation.

There is a deep desire for a peer support group in Oakland County and
hope to meet others at the convention.

Some people can contribute by calling others to see how they are doing
and if they need help finding support. Others are good at getting
involved in committees. Others are great communicators and can write
my thoughts better than I am. Regardless in the blind world, as a team
we can fill the gaps organizations can not.
