Check out the following section from the so-called State Plan amendments submitted for the record yesterday:

"Attachment 4.2(c) Input of State Rehabilitation Council

Required annually by all agencies except those agencies that are independent
consumer-controlled commissions.

Identify the Input provided by the state rehabilitation council, including
recommendations from the council’s annual report, the review and analysis of
consumer satisfaction, and other council reports. Be sure to also include:

  a.. the Designated state unit's response to the input and recommendations;
and
  b.. explanations for the designated state unit's rejection of any input or
recommendation of the council.
*The BSBP functions in accordance with the State Rehabilitation Council.

Jones didn't submit anything back in 2009 for the required input of the Michigan Commission for the Blind board into our state plan, because there was none. None. Nada. Nothing!

In fact the Chair at the time didn't even know what the state plan was as examined in the public record a year later.

Now we want to push this dog and pony show through at the last minute with a board that has been effectively and illegally disolved by EO 2012-10? This is Orwellian double speak.

It also goes to the utter arrogece and contempt for known obligations by Jones and Cannon who both knew responsabilities, garnerred paychecks of more than $100,000 per annum and who can't even abide true consumer input.

By the way the Michigan rehabilitation Council was not out of compliance in the past, but is this year because it has been dismantled, again illegally by this administration.

For the record.
