Since when does an H R desk job need a mode of reliable transportation? I
am certain they meant a motorized wheelchair or a white cane and a CATA
Spec-Tran nonthly pass!

This is absolutely the same rubbish as the friends-and family recruitment
tactics at the Peckham U.S. Passport Call Center, whereby they hire the
disAbled , then get them to lure their non-disabled (allegedly disabled)
friends and family members to hire in, fail to accommodate the disability of
the truly disabled, if accommodations will cost Peckham, then proceed to
fire or get the disabled person to quit, because they cannot successfully do
the work without simple accommodations. For example, Peckham will
accommodate a partially sighted with Zoom-Text, but refuses a lower acuity
visually impaired with Jaws or Window Eyes voice screen reader, saying the
voice will interfere with interacting with calling customers. Perhaps they
could learn from the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue
Service, and private sector businesses who have for decades utilized and
accommodated the employment needs of totally blind. The fact is that
Peckham simply will not because it would cost a few bucks to accommodate a
bblind person, and does not fit into their scam business model of allegedly
serving the employment needs of the disabled. I know one hearing impaired
person who was not accommodated with voice enhancements to do the job
effectively, was offered an alternative job in Peckham's garment sweat shop
sewing garments for pennies per garment, as a substitution for the $11 per
hour customer service job. The other sick part is that on-site U.S.
Department of State contract compliance supervisor personnel are well aware
of the non-accomodation practices, and they refuse to enforce the contract
terms, not to mention the provisions of the Rehabilitation Act and the
Americans with DisAbilties Act.

What really is needed is a forsenic audit of Peckham by the Internal Revenue
Service, to evaluate and end Peckham's non-profit status as a scam and fraud
upon the public, government, and disabled persons.
