It goes on and on and on again. Blind folks have no and I repeat no access to our CILs or VR programs here. Printed words are the barrier as well as documented violations of our civil rights over decades now.

Paul Joseph Harcz, Jr.

To: J. Michael Zelley
via documented e-mail

Dear Mr. Zelley,

This is a reiterated request for my own application (see reference) in accessible format from you as President and CEO of The Disability Network in Flint. How hard is it to understand that you have known obligations to make all of your facilities and programs accessible to all people with disabilities including those of us who are blind and including something as simple as requesting and receiving applications for services in accessible formats which, by the way you and TDN purport to do pro forma in your 704 B reports?

Bottom line is that your agency has my application in in a format sighted folks can read. So does the Michigan Department of Human Services through TDN's agency. So do many.

I, on the other hand am the only one who does not have this in a format I can read and act upon indepently.

Are you so ignorant of the civil rights aspect of this situation that you cannot even respond to these requests?

Oh, you shouldn't be ignorant of these requirements as a recipient of RSA funds to run of all things a center for independent living sir!

Plus you've been notified over and over again of your obligations.

I Again make this request for accessible information to me forthwith. from you as head of a CIL, Mr. Zelley.

Sincerely,

Paul Joseph Harcz, Jr.

For the record I did recieve this and the print copy. But also for the record I cannot independently read either.

Please notify Mr. Zelley that I'm requesting formally under the ADA and 504 that TDN makes this important document accessible to me. My most effective format is to have this document produced as either a plain text or Word document and either sent to my e-mail adress or put on a thumb drive and sent to my physical adress.

I note for Mr. Zelley's sake that in all of TDN's 704 B reports he claims that TDN does make such documents accessible to TDN consumers such as myself.

Now, as an aside Ms. Graves has been helpful to the best of her abilities in these regards. Again this request is specific and goes to TDN's over all obligations.

Thanks..

Paul "Joe" Harcz, Jr.

  Hello Joe

This morning I spoke with you about your application we completed for Medicare premiums. You stated that he had not received the copy of the application( by mail) that was mailed out July 25th 2013. Today August 19, 2013 I am mailing you another copy of the application and with talking to Elan at Center for Civil Justice It came to me that I could scan the application and could send it to you in an email so, attachment to this letter is a copy of the application plus one has been mailed to you today. I have also sent a scanned copy of the application to Elan.

So do not delete this email because you application off of Mibridges.gov for Medicare premium assistance is attached.

  Have a good day

  Sheletha Graves
