Evelyn,

As MPVI president I get asked this question all the time by both parents and teachers. There is a high school student in Ann Arbor that needs Braille music also. I would love to find someone in the state who would be willing to transcribe music for kids.

The family lives in the Grand Rapids area, about fifty miles from me. If any of you know someone who could help or you are that someone, please contact me off list for more details. The mother says they are already running into trouble with the so-called experts who have low expectations and discourage Braille. I am going to try to round up as many contacts as possible and am encouraging the family to attend the state and national conventions. She knows about the NFB and has the right attitude and determination. Thanks in advance.
