Dear Elizabeth,

The only disrespect that the national Federation of the Blind shows is
that for the agencies and officials who lie to the blind, cheat the blind,
sho personal hatred for the blind and will do all they can to shove the
blind down and trample-over the blind as they stuff thier pockets with il
gotten gains. It is unfortunate that anyone feels any disrespect from a
fello blind person, blind people come in all shapes, sizes and personalities
and I have lerned over the years that it is important to keep that in mind.
On the other hand, if any member is feeling disrespected because of actions
or comments from us, especially our leadership, then shame on us. I, as one
of those leaders, apologize for our organization and its leaders. As for
me, I have known you for a long time and highly respect your ability, your
dedication and the principles on which you take a stand.
As for stepping up to the plate, you have done so many times in the
past, and i hope you will again soon. As for leaders in the NFBMi, check the
mirror and be sure you are doing what others expect. Dave Robinson----
