Dear Federation family and friends,

   It is with deep sorrow and a breaking heart that I let you know of the passing of our son in law, Cris Hinshaw.  He went to be with the Lord on February 13 after more then a ten year battle with cancer.  
   Many of you may have never met Cris, but know my daughter Gina. Cris and Gina had been married more tthen seven years and recently made Mary Ann and I grandma and grandpa presenting us with a granddaughter, Gabriella Grace, on April 14 of last year.  Even though only 29 years old, Cris impacted many lives as a teacher and a servent of our Lord.  He was a man that I was proud to call a son, and a man that we all could look toward when we seek direction in our own life. 
   A memorial service will be held for Cris at the Ada Bible church   at 8899 Cascade Rd SE  Ada, Michigan on Sunday, February 23 at 3 p.m.  Donations for Cris Hinshaw can be sent to Compassion International through their web site at  Compassion International. Com.   Cris was a blessing to our family and his memory will be a blessing to treasure forever.
