Good evening Fellow State Presidents,
I am writing to inform you that the National Federation Of The Blind Of Illinois is planning its spring seminar for TVIS, parents, teachers and students. The seminar will take place during the weekend of April 15 and 16, 2016, and will be held at the Midway Marriott in Chicago. The student track will be held on April 16, 2016. As has been done for the past two years, our student division would like to invite students from surrounding states to the day long seminar. Students from your state may wish to present on a topic important to students, parents or TVIs and are invited to assist in  the planning of the seminar. In fact, students from Indiana, Michigan, and Minnesota attended this past year’s seminar, and greatly added to our program. The next student planning meeting is December 8, 2015 at 7:30 pm by conference call (641)-715-3273, and the code is 4227). Katie Leinum is President of the Illinois Association Of Blind Students, and her e-mail address is kayteaell at gmail.com. Her Phone is 217-2204124. Our student division also plans an outing at a nearby restaurant the night before the seminar. I am attaching the agenda,  general flier and student flier so you will have an idea of some of the topics covered. Please let your student presidents know about the upcoming seminar, and if you plan to send students from your states, please let Katie and I know as soon as possible.  Thank you very much.
