Hello,

Marcus, thanks for the heads-up. Here is the "rest of the story" regarding
the K-Mart issue. I did not realize that Gary did not include the original
thread. This is a little long, but will give you the flavor of the kind of
information that Gary is looking for.

Warmest Regards,

Fred

I would likely not ask any clerk to do that but, rather, would do the same
thing. My friend, Linda, goes in with me. I don't mind that.

I would be uncomfortable asking someone to go into the room with me, but
would prefer them to wait outside, then model the outer garment being
purchased.

I once went shopping with a male employee of ours. The woman I was working
with made some kind of comment about needing plus sizes or something. She
gave me about one or two items. I was upset and wasn't going to purchase
anymore. This guy went and got some suits he thought might work and brought
them. I think he picked the one that ultimately did. He was so mad that he
made the woman become more attentive. I would have no problem going with a
male. The nice thing about a female is they can go into the room with you
and help you determine how you look if you want that. That's why I usually
go with my friend.

I know it. I would also feel more comfortable with a woman when shopping
for women's clothing.

Oh I did compliment the cashier highly whehn I called in to corporate.
He was fantastic. I just wish they had given me a woman that worked in the
clothing department as that would've speeded things up significantly. But
that was in no way the cashier's fault and he was great and did what he
could to help.

end your complaint with a solution on how things could be handled next time,
and leave it on a positive note.
