Writing from the very hot desert of Nevada where there are earthquakes.  The Convention is off to a great start with lots of very motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Federationists.  It is clear that the leader in thought and action in blindness is the NFB.
Here is information about a partnership between the University of michigan, BSBP and the NFBMI  that may provide career direction for our blind youth.  Please distribute the following information to our young folks and their parents.

The program will take place at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI on Aug 18-20, 2019.  This program will provide students with the opportunity to learn about the auto industry and new innovations surrounding autonomous vehicles, as well as ride on an autonomous shuttle.  Students will also explore emerging and in-demand careers in the auto industry, meet professionals working in various capacities within the auto industry, and learn from industry leaders the skills and education required to work in a variety of positions in the auto industry.
