Greetings to all.

The Federation is indeed a family. But first and foremost, we are a
community of purpose: that is, the Federation is made up of "people
who are going through the same process or journey to achieve a
similar, often emergent, objective." What is this objective? Nothing
less than the equality, opportunity, and security of the blind. And
how noble it is that our brothers and sisters in the Federation
provide us with wisdom and resources that can enable us to succeed as
our own boss?

If you want to start your own business or to learn tips and tricks for
how to make your already-existing business run better, consider
registering for the Self-Employment Workshop described below. It
begins this coming Thursday, November 17 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. I
believe it is Rasheta Bunting of New York State who is facilitating
this event. I would not miss it for the world.
