[NFBMI-Talk] Flint/Genesee County Chapter announces Election Outreach Day

Greetings to all.

As president of the NFB of Michigan, I am very proud to share the following
announcement from the president of our newly organized Flint chapter,
Sheila Fulmore.  I invite those who can,  to come to show their support
especially if you know your district uses the Heart voting machine.  This is
In keeping with our state initiative to host voter education events
throughout Michigan when we can arrange them.  Our Detroit Chapter hosted a
similar event with the Dominion Machine last week at EYELEARN, the training
program headed by our 2nd-VICE-President, Sabrina Simmons.  Sabrina and
Sheila are to be commended for their dedication and hard work in making
these events possible.     

I participated in some of the braille activities that EYELEARN held in
conjunction with their voter event last week, and I intend to be in Flint to
help celebrate Election Outreach Day.

Hi. The national Federation of the blind Flint/Genesee chapter and I have
some important news. Elections are about choosing more than just the
president; we're voting for senators and representatives, the people who
actually make laws for Michigan 0and our country. Voting is a way of
expressing who you think is a good leader. What leader people prefer and the
choices that leader makes is a good reason to vote for them. In order to
vote, you have to register. In every Michigan election, you can register to
vote before the election or in person at the clerks office on election day.
Please vote on November 8th 2022.

every precinct must have accessible voting machines for visually impaired
and disabled individuals to use. 

 

 

The hassle brink senior citizen center has agreed to host the National
Federation of The Blind Flint/Genesee chapter election outreach day this
will allow us to train using the Hart voting machine that used in Genesee
County to all that come out.
