Happy Friday Federationists!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Fall and I am confident that our enthusiasm won't change during Blind Equality Achievement Month. Our campaign and fundraiser, the Six Dot Stride, kicked off on October 1 and has left than 20 days left in its quest to raise funds to support programming for blind families. It's not too late to get in on the support through either donating to one of our fundraiser's efforts or signing up to compete yourselves. Tomorrow, October 15, 2022 at 12pm is the FINAL day to sign up as a Strider that is eligible for a prize at convention. About those prizes, here's a reminder of what we have:

  * RayCon Bluetooth Earbuds (Highest Donor Pledge)
  * Apple TV 4K Digital Streaming Device (Strider with Highest Total Pledges)
  * $50 Visa Gift Card (Striders with Highest Steps/Miles at Convention)

We are only halfway through Blind Equality Achievement Month and there is still time to raise enthusiasm and create excitement for our convention and all the programming we have on the horizon. Visit www.nfbmi.org/six-dot-stride<http://www.nfbmi.org/six-dot-stride> for more information on how to donate or join in on the fun. If you need assistance signing up for the campaign, please reach out to me at (269) 216-8640. This is a team effort and our affiliate needs our collective teamwork in this for it to be truly successful. Remember friends, without action and advocacy, our efforts are only desires. Let's go build the Federation, together!

With Love, Hope and Determination
