Ather,

Thank you so much for this notification. Paulette is a star among the skies
of raised expectations in our Federation family. Her support of our
programs, efforts and philosophy demonstrated not just faith in the
Federation, but in each of its members. I speak for behalf of our affiliate
board in saying that we all are mourning her transition, but so grateful to
have been connected to someone so positive. We all support Mike and his
family during this time and also thank you for your dedication to our
membership in sharing this notice. We appreciate all of your efforts and
cover you as well during this tough moment.

With Love,

Robert Parsons, Jr., M. A., CRC, CVRT, LLC

Paulette was an amazing woman. Since the day I met her, she always treated
me like a son. She treated me so much like a son that I started to call her
Mom, or mother. In response, she would always call me son. I can still hear
her calling me "son" in my head. She was always there, and always willing
and eager to help anyone who asked for it. There were times when I would
want to go to Federation functions, and she herself would have Mike call me
out of the blue, and basically insist that they give me a ride. She had a
heart of pure gold, and while I knew her for only so little time; not nearly
as long as most of the rest of you all, she meant so much to me since the
time she entered into my life and will be dearly missed. I know that we all
in the Michigan affiliate will continue to remember her support and presence
as we stand with Mike and their family during this time. In Lieu of flowers,
the family has requested to please donate to the National Federation of the
Blind of Michigan in Paulette's memory at:
