Marvelous Michigan Migrators

Spring air is filled with songs of the season. The season is for mating and
that requires lots of noise for match-making. Most of the singers have been
here all winter, but, now they have something to sing about.

In the next few weeks and during the month of May we will meet many
varvelous Michigan migrators. They will be flying back north to raise their
families and help continue their species.

This is where we come in. On the weekend ofMay 9-11 we will have the
opportunity to walk through the woods and explorevarious habitats to witness
the return of the marvelous Michigan migrators. With plenty of time for fun,
fellowship, and of course food we will focus on meeting the migrators and
learn to identify them by song and call. This sense-sational skill is known
as Birding by Ear and you can easily find success in the outdoor classroom.
Clear Lake camp consists of dorms for sleeping and a giant lodge for
enjoying eating, participating in programming and gathering for games
galore. At this peak migration moment we are spending two nights and three
days at Clear Lake camp with the Outdoor Education center in Battle Creek ,
Michigan.

Please save the date and email DPosont at umich.edu <mailto:DPosont at umich.edu>

the weekend is $20 per individual or $25 for a family. Transportation will
