Michigan Avian Experience , Special Owl Prowl

 

Great adventure waits for you this Saturday, January 10, 2026 as we get up
close and personal with real live owls. Michigan Avian Experience will be
joining us with three live owls; Great horned owl, Eastern Screech owl, and
a Barred owl. After sharing information about the owls we will go into the
woods after dark and call for those owls. We will have a chance of hearing
a Great horned pair and a good chance of hearing an Eastern Screech owl.
There have not been Barred owls in this neck of the woods, but, you never
know what may be heard on a winter walk at night.

Please join us at the Environmental Interpretive Center from 4-7 p m  and
enjoy an awesome Owl experience. The center is on the campus of University
of Michigan-Dearborn in the northwest corner. There will also be
refreshments since we are meeting over dinnertime.
