(Gary please send to leaderslist)
Here is the actual scoop:
1. It is, as always, the local chapter's decision as what to serve in
hospitality. The city ordinances have nothing to do with it as this is, in
essence, a party in a hotel room. Of course, under age members and
volunteers should not be drinking or handling alcohol. In recent years most
chapters have opted against alcohol in hospitality. It has absolutely
nothing to do with negotiations with the hotel.
2. There will, in deed be a cash bar in the banquet provided by the
affiliate and paid for by our thirst. (This is subject to change if we do
not have enough reservations in place by Feb. 1 to get a good rate that will
assure our thirst covers the cost)
3. Early registration will be $10.00 and late registration will be $15.00
after March 14.
4. I do not have clearance for hotel reservations yet from hotel expect to
get in a couple of days have to make sure it is in computer.
