Dear Shelia and members of the Kansas City chapter:

thank you very much for your most generous donation to help in the Baby
Mikaela case. Combating this kind of injustice is among the most important
things we do as an organization, and the greatest tool we can have in our
toolbox is money when it comes to hiring the legal help we need to see that
justice is done.

Thank you so much for acknowledging the need and then going beyond that
acknowledgement and actually doing something to help meet the need. Your
kind donation pushes us over the $3,000 mark, so while the Missouri
affiliate is still into this case for at least $7,000, efforts like yours
from individuals and chapters have met almost a third of this commitment.

Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity.

Gary Wunder, president

Dear President Wunder,

At our August 21, 2010 meeting, the Kansas City Chapter voted to make a
donation of $500.00 to the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri for
the "Bring Mikaela Home Fund" in support of our efforts.

We are requesting that you authorize the Missouri Affiliate Treasurer to
transfer this amount from restricted funds held for Kansas City projects.

Thank you very much for your assistance with logistics concerning this
action.

Sincerely,

Shelia Wright, President
