I'm going to take a shot in the dark on this one.
Some times people will see us hit something with our cane and they will 
think that we ran in to it, Some times they can be looking right at 
something and not see it.
But I wasn't there.
I don't know why they didn't just ask the mother about it.
Maybe members with the Kansas City chapter will get the chance to educate 
the people involved
