Subject: VP Parade Info

Hi!

I'm hoping you can pass the word about the disabled viewing area for the VP Parade this Saturday on to your clients and constituents.

A special viewing area will be provided for spectators with special needs or disabilities, as has been done for previous Veiled Prophet Parades. It will be located at the corner of 8th Street and Market. It will open at 9:00 a.m. and the parade starts at 10:00 a.m.

The facilities will include announcers for the visually impaired provided by Minds Eye, interpreters for the hearing impaired, and viewing space for the orthopedically impaired. Cold water and wheelchair-accessible portable restrooms will be available, and limited parking for handicapped licensed vans will be provided on a first come - first serve basis, on 8th Street between Market and Walnut. Metro's Call a Ride can also drop off right next to the area.

If you would like more info about the Parade, please visit http://www.vpparade.org/
