hi,

no, the paypal fee and merchant credit card percentages have been three percent for a long while plus 30 cents per transaction on paypal.
in that case, the heading should be called paypal fee if anything at all because it shouldn't even be listed as you can use the hidden variable called handling.
second, registration plus all three meals is $69 and the paypal fee equals $2.37.

  Last time I checked, the paypal fee was 1% or so of the actually cost of an 
  item and if you say you are sending it to family, there was no fee at all. 
  Better I think to have the treasurer get a paypal account and send the money 
  directly to her.

  convenience fee? Seems like it ought to be the other way around, or at
  least a drop of say $2 for doing a registration online.
