Dear Dan,

I, too, am sorry to hear that the Senate leadership has changed its views 
regarding the proposed cut to blind health care services. Honestly, it 
surprises me, given how against it they were previous to now.

There was an article in Friday's Post-dispatch indicating that the President 
ProTem of the Senate was against the cut; however, I heard information to 
the contrary Thursday afternoon, and I'm honestly inclined to believe the 
information that I heard to the contrary.
